Page 4 -- Columbia River Gorge
December 2007-
Columbia River Gorge/Spokane. This trip was more than just a road trip. It was a fun, fun weekend getaway with my man to see the rock bands 'Tool' in Spokane, and then 'Seether' back in Portland the next night. 6 hours each way, baby!
I love living in Washington and traveling through the ever changing beautiful scenery. The days were crisp and clear and drifting through the low to mid 30 temps. This was during the recent floods here, and our whole journey was quite the experience.
I'm calling this our 'Visa Priceless Weekend.' Read all about it in my blog.

I love how this showcases the Columbia River bank

Near Tri-Cities -- the beautiful snow went on for miles
I love Marilyn Monroe -- though this street is not named after
her, I took this picture of a street sign downtown Spokane
Ritzville, Wa -- outside an antique store. Yeah, here come the rooster!

Multnomah Falls -- at 620 feet, the 2nd highest year-round waterfall in the USA
Several hundred yards closer...
The closer you get, the more mist hits you. But so worth it!
