Since I'm always adding something new, this page is designed to make it easier for y'all. '-)
Be sure to take a gander of what's new while your cooling your heels along the Outlaw Trail.

New additions added to Women of the West page. Now, all the ladies are on one page, rather then having to click on a link to go to another page about each. I like it much better this way, and I hope you do too! Read about Calamity Jane, Laura Bullion, Ann Bassett, Annie Oakley and other ladies of the Old West. Let me know what you think!
Speaking of moving, I also relocated the outlaws and lawmen. What a job! What does this mean now, you may ask? Nuttin' really. They're still just a click away. Before they had their own site, connected here, of course. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. (But you may wanna adjust your bookmarks and browsers, if needed, from the previous web pages.) Wild Bill Hickok has new revisions!!!
And last but not least, I am archiving older updates from this page, rather then just having the page go back till the beginning. This way will be much easier, as well. But if you're really so inclined to go waaayback in the updates, the archive link is at at the bottom of this page.
On the homefront, in February, we went to Seattle a mini getaway and saw the rock band Puddle of Mudd. I've uploaded pictures of the cool city. (As you Harry Tracy fans know, he was there in 1902. Course, it looks way different now.) We're going back to Seattle again in mid April to see (again) one of my favorite bands Seether.
It's Spring Break here and can you believe it SNOWED? Unheard of in late March. Now it's all sunny. This is how the Northwest weather is. If you don't like the weather, give it 15 minutes and it'll change. hehehe. I'm also on vacation from work until April 6, so if you e-mail me, please be patient.
As for writing on my fiction western romance novels, I plan to get tons of writing done this week!

Check out our Tool/Seether road trip. What have I been up to? Ohhh, you know the usual...trouble! hehehe. Read the latest happenings in my blog. Christmas here was marvelous and on Christmas Day it SNOWED. Big beautiful flakes. It didn't stay long though, but the two hours it snowed was quite the show!!

To celebrate 7 years on the Internet, my Hideout has a new look! Take a look around! I do hope you enjoy! As many of you may know, I've been away for a bit. Sure have missed this ole place. But in my defense: new life, new chapter! I have additional stuff planned to be added, so please be patient. :-)
This month my man and I have visited some really cool places where I've been gathering research. One of which is Shaniko, Oregon a turn of the century little town estabished 1901 and now has a population of 26.
During this mini road trip we traveled along the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, visiting small towns and antique shops where I bought a circa 1940's Forger's Coffee can to add to my collection. Capping the day off in Hood River we stopped by Full Sail Brewery to enjoy some fine ale before touring thIs historic town with stately homes and buildings.
Another fascinating place last weekend: Kennedy School McMenamins in Portland, Oregon. Built in 1915 this historic school now carries lodging in 35 former classrooms, movie theater and soaking pool. Where the cafeteria once was, is now a restaurant and bar where one can eat fine food and enjoy handcrafted ales and wines and spirits. A walking tour of the school gives you a glimpse of bygone days with photographs, artwork and notes of former students and teachers.
Last month we visited McMenamin's Grand Lodge and browsed the beautiful grounds enjoyed the ales!!!
Yes, we are on a mission to visit all the cool McMenamin's. Check back for more details!
